*Note that the roller may come in a different colour to that illustrated. Obviously the colour does not affect the final clay impression.

*Tip: (only applies if your clay is wet to the touch rather than ‘leather hard’) a common practice is to use a sprinkling of cornflour on the clay surface before rolling (the cornflour will burn off in the firing) or alternatively dip the roller in water immediately before rolling.
